In just 430 pages, Lengel answers questions geared specifically to student pilots, private & instrument rated flyers, pro aviators, and flight instructors while also tacking an inordinate number of questions that most pilots would never even think to ask. If there's only one book pilots should turn to as the epitome of collective aviation knowledge, without a doubt it's this one.
- Great Book
Very Detailed But….
The book has an amazing amount of detail and I appreciate the efforts to make what may have been an otherwise dry encyclopedia. However, the over all vibe of the book reads like a Trump tweet (Which some people might like) . Or put another way…reminds me of those forward emails you get from certain members in your family. Lots of underlines and all caps, bolded words, different fonts, weird little cartoons and photos. I applaud the effort , and it looks like a lot of hard work went into accuracy. I just think it could of been put together and edited in a way that was less distracting. But if you like that kind of thing, you’ll love this.
Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot
Book arrived wrapped, carefully packed, and in perfect condition Well done!
This was to replace the one I had lost in a move. I think this one is also updated, but still a fun thumb through and a “oh…. so that’s why” sort of thing. Great Book!
